Costs of Wills

Nobody wants to think about it, but making a Will is one of the most important things you will ever do.

We make Wills for people from every background and in every stage of life, including older and vulnerable individuals, divorcees, business and land owners, from first time buyers to retired people.

We can help you through this process.

How much does the service cost?

Single Wills

Our costs for dealing with your Simple Will are £250 plus VAT. However, this amount may increase if substantial amendments are made and re-drafts are necessary.

Our costs for dealing with Complex Single Wills – which can incorporate Discretionary and Property Protection Trusts range from £450 to £500 plus VAT.

Mirror Wills

Our costs for dealing with Simple Mirror Wills are £400 plus VAT. However this amount may increase if substantial amendments are made and re-drafts are necessary.

Our costs for dealing with Complex Mirror Wills – incorporating Discretionary and Property Protection Trusts range from £650 to £750 plus VAT.

Please Note

Our costs are calculated on the basis that you will be attending the office to sign your Will, which is our normal and preferred practice.

Home Visits

If you are unable to do so then we can either arrange to visit you at home – subject to an additional charge of:

  • 0-5 miles from the office £10 each way = £40
  • 5-10 miles from the office £20 each way = £80
  • Over 10 miles from the office £1 per mile each way
